If you are wanting to become certified as an IBT (International Behavior Therapist), you would first need to be familiar with all requirements for the IBT.  You can find an explanation of the IBT Requirements on the IBAO Downloads page of our website.  

Next, you would register as an IBT Candidate (Registration, not Addition, cost is $120.00).   After you have completed all the requirements, you can sit for the exam.  We have listed a summary of the IBT requirements below.  The 40-hour training course (Required Educational Objectives - REOs) is required for the IBT certification, but we do not provide it.  You can find Approved Content Providers for IBT in our directory of ACP on the IBAO website. 

IBT - International Behavior Therapist - Certification requiring a high school diploma, 40 hours of REOs, 300 hours of practice, 10 hours of supervision, candidate skills testing, CEUs, and the IBT Exam.
