I am a supervisor. How does the supervision process work

The process works like this: an IBA/IBT candidate or IBT goes into their online account dashboard and in their Supervision tab, selects “Request Supervisor.” They add your name and email, and the platform emails you. You can accept the request. You both read and sign the ethics docs, supervision contract, and then you are established in a supervisory relationship. This process is initiated by the candidate, not the supervisor. Similarly, the supervision forms are also initiated by the candidate. They complete the form online in their dashboard and the platform emails you for approval. When one is approved, the metrics in their dashboard are automatically updated.
