Can I obtain the IBA with a QASP-S

The IBA certification requires 270 hours of REOs (ABA coursework).   The QASP-S requires 180 hours.  If you can get the additional 90 hours of REOs, then we would accept your QASP-S through the IBA addition route.   We have an Approved Content Provider in Nigeria who has made a bridge course for this purpose.  The course is in English.  If you would like to have more information about this course, please let us know and we will email more information on the bridge course.   If you obtain the additional 90 hours through the conversion course, you will then upload proof of the course and email a copy of the QASP-S for verification.  Upon approval of the documents, we will award the IBA certification.

 

If this option is not possible for you, then you would need to obtain the REOs in full on your own.  We will accept any previous practice hours, supervision, etc.    You would register as an IBA Candidate (Registration, not Addition, cost is $299.00) and upload any requirements that you have already met into your online account for verification.  After all requirements are met, you can sit for the exam.

 

These are the requirements for the IBA (our equivalent to QBA), you would need a master's degree or bachelor's degree and projects for the non-master's route, 270 hours of REOs (ABA coursework), 1000 of supervision, skills tests, CEUs and the exam.
